Glycerol Ester of Gum Rosin
Glycerol esters of modified gum rosin are obtained by esterifying rosin with glycerol at high temperature.
These rosin esters have been stabilized to provide excellent thermal resistance and excellent resistance to oxidation.
They are solid resins with a light yellow color, compatible with most common compounds such as, EVA polymers, SIS, SBR, natural rubber, butyl rubber, hydrocarbon and terpene resins and other polymers.
These products are soluble in aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, ester and ketones.
