COMMITMENT TO THE FOOD SAFETY
KEMI – Pine Rosins S.A. has implemented a Food Safety Management System, with the scope of “Production of glycerol esters of wood rosin and gum rosin for the food industry, packaged in paper bags, PE/PET complex, multilayer with oxygen barrier, and KRAFT paper drums.” There is also a commitment to:
– Bring to market products with recognized Quality and Food Safety.
– Require high levels of Quality and Food Safety from Suppliers.
– Develop safe and higher quality products based on control operations throughout the entire production process, from the receipt of raw materials to the final product.
– Ensure a food safety culture that increases employee confidence and commitment through continuous education and recognition, explaining the reasons behind processes and the impact of their work on the supply chain, as well as on product quality and safety, and ultimately on the final consumer.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Our principles and results are aligned with the best practices in the sector, which includes a transparent information system that allows for the continuous improvement of the performance of the management system in the areas of quality, innovation, environment, safety, food safety, and the prevention of serious accidents involving hazardous substances.
We will continue to implement guidelines and processes that enable us to embed each of our principles at the business level, periodically reviewing the policy to ensure it remains current, functional, and effective.
All the commitments mentioned above are reflected in management objectives to ensure the efficiency and adequacy of the Management System.
